亲爱的校园社区:

2月4日, 2023, I informed you that we issued a Letter of Notice of Non-Compliance and/or Satisfactory Performance to 爱玛客. 自发信以来, we consistently met with 爱玛客’s leadership team to rectify our concerns within the 30-day “Good Faith Negotiation” period. Your 基督教社会联盟DH team went above and beyond the Good Faith Negotiation period to review and cross-check operational and functional improvements.

We were clear about the areas that needed significant improvements: (1) 食品质量, (2)营销/传播计划, (3)人力资源管理, (4)财务进展. 作为一个校园社区,  你提供了反馈,结果, you helped improve the services that are detailed in our agreement with 爱玛客. 以下是改进的简要总结:

 

  • Food quality has significantly improved as noted by your feedback from the Voice of the Customer portal.
  • A marketing and communications plan has been presented and the 餐厅的网站 has been updated with dashboards to show progress and highlights a schedule of events.
  • 新来的地区经理, who has focused on community engagement and the key performance indicators to institute sound change management, made two significant leadership changes in the operation that have improved morale and productivity.
  • Negotiations were finalized to minimize 基督教社会联盟DH’s financial risk for the fiscal year. This risk is significantly lower than the current actual risk due to the higher-than-expected cost of goods and lagging sales. Labor costs are also down as 爱玛客 realigns work schedules based on consumer demand.

 

We have concluded the Good Faith Negotiation period and notified 爱玛客 that while all objectives have not been fully met, they have made a concerted effort toward improvement, and we will not proceed with early termination at this time. 然而, we also noted that we will remain vigilant and reserve the right to exercise our authority to terminate early for non-performance or material breach.

In 2021, 基督教社会联盟DH Foundation began a request for proposals (RFP) process to evaluate bids from food service management companies that could support 基督教社会联盟DH’s immediate service needs and long term infrastructure growth.

The Conversations that Matter meetings have been providing campus community members with the opportunity to discuss 基督教社会联盟DH’s contract with 爱玛客.

基督教社会联盟DH recognizes that there has been concern about the new dining services contract with 爱玛客. 爱玛客’s contract with Foundation includes key performance indicators (KPIs) that they must meet related to 食品质量, 安全工作条件, 学生就业及参与, 以及酒店业的创新. Foundation is committed to ensuring these KPIs are met. Food quality and the financial impact of the contract will be measured weekly. Following the November 15 Conversations that Matter and community feedback, a new 爱玛客 team has been established on campus.
